Are you a part of a denomination?

We are part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC) www.fiec.org.uk) who were established in 1922.

What are your core values?

We are a bible believing, Spirit driven, God centred, warm family church.  You can see more on our values by watching our vision DVDs.

What is your service like?

It is warm, friendly and focused on real life.  Our music style is contemporary but we also appreciate older hymns and the value of good church traditions.  We aim to communicate with God and seek spontaneity as well as structure and so we sing songs, pray, watch various media clips and give good time to open up the Word of God through sermons.

How long is the service?

Sunday service last from 10.30-12.30 and then there is tea and coffe afterwards.

Is there child care available?

We have a Sunday school (staffed by CRB checked members of the church) for 4-11s (over 11s stay in the service) and a creche which is parent lead.

I’m not a Christian but I am interested – will I feel out of place?

Doing anything new is always a bit uncomfortable but we believe at RCC you’ll soon be at home here and you won’t be asked to do anything you don’t want to do.  You come at your own pace and go as deep as you want to go!

Will I have to give money?

No.  Giving is an act of worship for believers.  You are welcome to give an offering but are not expected to. No pressure will ever be put on anyone to give.

Do you have a course for people looking into the Christian faith?

Yes we do, please find the link for the Christianity Explored Course.
